Prudhoe Community High School is a good and improving school; with a real ambition to be one of the best schools in the north east. Prudhoe Community High School is a 13 – 18 school serving the community of Prudhoe and Northumberland. Examination performance in 2018 places the school in the top 20% of schools nationally based on our Progress 8 score of +0.39. It is an exciting time to join our committed team of staff. The school, together with 8 other schools (including 2 Middle schools and 6 First schools) will become part of the Tyne Community Learning Trust within the next few months.
We are offering an excellent opportunity for a suitably qualified Mathematics teacher to work within a high performing departmental team. We need a dynamic, self-motivated and ambitious teacher who aims to use this post as a stepping stone to Subject Leader and possibly Senior Leadership.

We are seeking to recruit new Examination Invigilators to work with the existing team in the running of internal and public examinations at Prudhoe Community High School.
The post would be ideally suited to applicants who feel a sense of responsibility for today’s young people and who are able to work flexible daytime hours. The role is on a casual basis, throughout the academic year, with the main examination periods during May and June for external examinations, and December for internal mock examinations.
As an exam invigilator you will supervise students during examinations and complete a small amount of associated paper work. Experience of carrying out invigilation duties and the ability to use IT would be an advantage, however full training will be provided for all invigilators and all hours will be negotiated for each exam period.
We are committed to the safeguarding and welfare of young people, therefore an enhanced DBS check will be required.
