Message from the Headteacher

Prudhoe Community High School was opened in 1958 with 350 students. In September 2016, the new school building opened and the school is now a thriving, attractive and well resourced school serving the community of Prudhoe and beyond.

OFSTED arrived soon after the new school opened in 2016 and the school was judged as good. Since then, the school has continued to improve in all aspects including the achievement of students.

I am delighted and proud to be able to introduce myself, as the new Headteacher at Prudhoe Community High School, which sits at the heart of the local community.

Working together as a team, myself and the staff aim to provide a supportive and caring environment and inspirational teaching while engaging and motivating our students through enrichment activities to be the best they possibly can be. Excellence is at the heart of everything that we do here at Prudhoe Community High School. Students describe the school as a happy community which is evident in the relationships between staff, students and parents / carers.

Working in partnership with parents is crucial, if we are to ensure all of our children feel safe, happy, valued and achieve their full potential. I look forward to meeting you all throughout the year.

Annmarie Moore
Headteacher
