We are very proud of all of our students who collected their results yesterday.
Almost half of our A Level grades are grades B – A* with 24% at grades A / A* which is an improvement on last year’s results. Overall grades A* – E remains at 99%. 9% of students taking A Level qualifications achieved grades A / A* in all of their subject areas.
Students have continued to perform very well in our vocational qualifications with the vast majority of grades awarded being Merits, Distinctions and Distinction*. 41.7% of students achieved at least one Distinction*. 53.2% of all vocational grades awarded were Merit and above.
Students have secured places at universities across the country from Cambridge to St Andrews studying a wide range of subjects including Medicine, Veterinary Science, Engineering, Geography, Physics and many more. We also have students taking up apprenticeship opportunities with organisations including Essity, Ernst & Young and Nissan.
Prudhoe Community High School has continued to offer a broad curriculum for students in the Sixth Form and the results reflect the hard work and commitment from the students, their families and the staff. All members of staff at the school feel very proud and privileged to have supported students in moving onto the next exciting stage in their lives whether that is further study, apprenticeships or employment.
