Thank you for your interest in working with us here at Prudhoe Community High School. We currently have the following vacancies:

Engineering Teacher

Permanent variable contract 0.5 – 0.7fte
Starting September 2019

Prudhoe Community High School is a good and improving school; with a real ambition to be one of the best schools in the north east. We are a 13 – 18 school serving the community of Prudhoe and Northumberland. Examination performance in 2018 places the school in the top 20% of schools nationally based on our Progress 8 score of +0.39. It is an exciting time to join our committed team of staff. The school, together with 8 other schools (including 2 Middle schools and 6 First schools) will become part of the Tyne Community Learning Trust within the next few months.

We are offering an excellent opportunity for a suitably qualified Technology/ Engineering teacher to work within a high performing departmental team. We need a dynamic, self-motivated and ambitious teacher with a passion for their subject specialism. This post is suitable to experienced and newly qualified teachers.

Engineering is taught by a team of teachers across KS3, KS4 and KS5 in a modern, purpose built Engineering facility. Our students have access to an extensive range of specialist industry standard machinery, tools and equipment and an adjoining ICT suite with a linked CNC machining room.
