Sixth Form students at Prudhoe Community High School are today celebrating another set of excellent results.

The school’s new building was full of excited students, ready to celebrate their achievements after months of extremely hard work. Record numbers of students applied to university this year and have had places confirmed at a diverse range of institutions from Oxford to Liverpool to study subjects including Midwifery , Physics and Zoology. Several students have secured enviable apprenticeships and local employment positions.

Headteacher, Deborah Reeman said “Once again we are thrilled with the achievements of our students and there have been some exceptional results. We are delighted to have increased the average points score per entry in both academic and vocational courses for the second year running demonstrating once again our continued commitment to improve the quality of education and outcomes for all our students here at ¬†Prudhoe Community High School.

Students and staff have worked incredibly hard over the past year and we are exceptionally proud of our students’ results. In addition our Year 12 students have laid excellent foundations for the coming year and we are sure they will continue to thrive next year. We would like to once again thank our staff for going the extra mile with our students, and our parents and carers for their continued support”
