This year marked the 20th anniversary of the Prudhoe St Petersburg Cultural Exchange.  The school was delighted to be hosting the visit of approximately 40 students, staff and friends from the Specialist Children's Music School No 9, including performers from the Chamber Choir "Cantus"

For many of the Russian visitors this was their very first trip to the United Kingdom, and they stayed with local families.  They had a busy schedule of sight seeing, school events, and evening performances.

Many staff and students from Prudhoe have visited Russia and enjoyed renewing old friendships.  New friendships were also made.

The music concert which involved students from this school and our Russian visitors was a sell out and a huge success. 

We look forward to their next visit.
